Privacy Policy

MBoxToPDF converts email files you upload into PDF volumes and indexes. Email is among the most sensitive data there is, so this policy is deliberately concrete about what happens to it.

What you upload

When you start a conversion, your .eml, .msg or .mbox files are transmitted to our server over HTTPS and processed there: messages are parsed, rendered to PDF, and — depending on your plan and choices — assembled into a merged volume, a CSV index and a ZIP. Processing happens on our server because large mailboxes cannot be streamed reliably inside a browser tab.

Automatic deletion — 24 hours

Your uploaded files, the extracted messages and attachments, and every generated result are stored only so you can download them, and are deleted automatically 24 hours after each conversion. There is no archive copy. After deletion, the only remaining record is a minimal job entry (file names, message count, page count, timestamps) in your account history, which contains no message content.

What we never do with your mail

• We do not read your messages for any purpose other than running your conversion.
• We do not sell, rent or share message content or metadata with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your files or their content to train machine-learning models.
• Message content never appears in our logs. Logs record job ids, sizes, counts and errors only.

Account data

An account stores your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your plan and subscription status, and monthly conversion counters. If you sign in with Google, we store the Google account identifier needed to recognise you, and your email address.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment details; we never see or store full card numbers. We receive subscription status events (created, renewed, payment failed, cancelled) and link them to your account to set your plan.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies: a session cookie when you log in, and an anonymous token that lets your browser retrieve conversions you started without an account. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by MBoxToPDF.

Your choices

You can convert without an account (free-plan limits apply). To delete your account and its history, email highsave@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days; conversion files are already gone within 24 hours by design.

If this policy changes in a way that affects how uploaded mail is handled, we will announce it on this page before it takes effect. Questions: highsave@gmail.com.
